Dennis H. Kekas, Chairman / Co-Founder Dennis is a former IBM Division Director with 30+ years of managing the development of disruptive technologies including optical scanners. He currently serves as Associate Vice Chancellor for Partnership Development at NCSU and is also the Executive Director of NC State University’s Institute for Smart Systems (iSMART), is an Executive-In-Residence for the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), is a member of the acceptance committee for the Defense & Security Technology Accelerator near Fort Bragg, NC and is on the Board of the Clemson Research Foundation. |

Erin Clark, CEO / President Erin has financial, operational and strategic planning experience working as an independent consultant advising clients from early stage ventures to mature mid-market companies. Prior to that, he spent several years working in crisis management and corporate turnaround services, service as advisor to, or directly on, executive management teams across several industries. Erin has a BSBA, a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |

D. Jason Kekas, Chief Technology Officer / Co-Founder Jason is a results oriented leader in the optics field with more than 14 years hands-on experience developing advanced optical system designs and products at IBM, Lucent Technologies and LightSpin Technologies. He helped create the HoloBright™ concept out of a desire to enable a large, low cost display image not available with today’s portables like PDAs, gaming, cell phones, and iPod™ devices. Jason received his BSEE from Clemson University and his MS in Optical Sciences from The University of Arizona. He has one granted U.S. patent and is also a member of both the OSA and the SPIE, as well as a member of the IEEE. |

Dr. Michael Escuti, Chief Science Officer / Co-Founder Michael is a leading liquid crystal display expert pioneering the development of polarization independent devices. As Assistant Professor Electrical & Computer Engineering at NC State University, he currently directs experimental research within the Opto-electronics and Lightwave Engineering Group. He earned his PhD and MS degrees at Brown University and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Dutch Polymer Institute (Netherlands). He holds 2 patents and has 4 more pending. |
